NOTICE OF WORK AT FOUR-WAY STOP BAKER ST / HIGHWAY 3A
Timeline of Work: September 26th – October 7th
The City is performing water system upgrades at the 100 block of Baker Street and Highway 3A. These upgrades are in conjunction with the Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure’s planned intersection upgrades.

The
west end of Baker Street will be closed to through traffic at the four-way stop between October 3rd and 7th. Through traffic in the laneway will be temporarily closed. Some public parking stalls on Baker Street will be closed for storing materials and equipment.

Water interruptions will be required to connect the new upgrades. Odd-numbered addresses on the 100 block of Baker will be affected. A separate notification will be given out before the scheduled shut-off if your business or building is affected.

Equipment and materials will begin to mobilize starting on September 23rd. Highway intersection detours will begin the week of September 26th.
If you own a business, please communicate with your customers where possible. The public should respect traffic and parking signage and protect their vehicles by parking away from the construction zone.
Thank you for your patience as we complete these important upgrades.
