The City of Nelson has sent out a notification to residents of Nelson to introduce our new Emergency Notification System called VOYENT ALERT!  The number used to send out this notification was 1 (403) 282 - 0818 (Calgary, Alberta #) where the VOYENT ALERT! Help Desk is located.  

In some cases, notifications were sent to landline numbers published in the white pages. If you received a call to your landline but had not previously signed up to receive emergency notifications, you can learn more or unsubscribe by clicking here.

For Nelson residents, if you have friends or family who do not have access to our website or social media, we ask that you connect with them to relay this information. 

For those residents who only have a landline and received a notification today; if you wish to continue receiving emergency notifications, no further action is required.
