Street Scraping, Sweeping and Flushing
April 6 - 9th, 2020 between 5:00 am and 11:00pm
Latimer Street to Observatory Street and all cross streets from Kootenay Street to Park Street
Parking restrictions are in effect for these streets to facilitate effective and efficient street scraping, sweeping and flushing.
Use off-street parking. If you must park on the street, and where possible, please comply with the odd/even day parking rule. Odd-Even parking restrictions mean that, on Monday April 6th and Wednesday April 8th (the even days), starting at 5:00 a.m. and until 11:00 p.m., parking is only permitted on the even-numbered side of the street. On Tuesday April 7th and Thursday April 9th (the odd days) starting at 5:00 a.m. and until 11:00 p.m., parking is only permitted on the odd-numbered side of the street. Other additional special restrictions may be posted along certain segments of this route.
Residents should not park on private property or on a neighbour’s property without permission. Residents are reminded to make sure to move their street parked vehicles every 72 hours and switch sides of the street during times when odd/even parking rules are in effect.
Residents are also asked to sweep accumulated sand from the sidewalks and boulevards adjacent to their properties onto the street (curb edge) in advance of this work.
