With cooling fall temperatures and rain in the forecast, the City of Nelson has returned to Stage 1 Water Restrictions as of Monday, September 29, 2025.
- Watering of lawns is allowed using a shut-off nozzle, sprinkler, or irrigation system, only between 4-9 am or 7-10 pm.
- Even-numbered homes water Wednesdays and Saturdays only.
- Odd-numbered homes water Thursdays and Sundays only.
- You may water trees, shrubs, vegetables, and flowers with a handheld container or a hose with a shut-off nozzle on any day.
