Reminder: Normal Water Regulations in Effect

As temperatures rise over the next few weeks and water demand increases, the City of Nelson is taking proactive steps to manage our water resources responsibly.

What this means for you:
Please continue to follow our normal water use regulations:

Lawn Watering

• Even-numbered addresses: water on even-numbered days of the week

• Odd-numbered addresses: water on odd-numbered days of the week

• Permitted times: 4:00–9:00 a.m. and 7:00–10:00 p.m.

Gardens (vegetables, flowers, trees & shrubs)
• Water any day of the week
• Use a shut-off nozzle, sprinkler, or irrigation system
• Permitted times: 4–9 a.m. and 7–10 p.m.

💧 Be Water Wise
Be mindful of water usage as we work together to keep our system sustainable.

Please skip washing cars, driveways, and sidewalks — and let Mother Nature water your lawn if you can.
