Temporary closure of the parking lot next to to the boat launch at Lakeside Park

June 21, 2019

The parking lot to the east of the boat launch at Lakeside Park will be temporarily closed from June 25 – 28, 2019 (approximately).

The area is being leveled, back-filled and compacted as part of the overall restoration after the installation of the new high voltage power line marine cables across the lake. This work will aid in reducing dust in the area as well as provide a smoother parking surface.

Please observe and obey signage for the area closure as large trucks and equipment will be working in the area.

The beaches will not be affected and the boat launch will remain fully accessible.
