Advisory Planning Commission (APC)
In accordance with the Terms of Reference, the role of the Advisory Planning Commission is to advise Council on any matter referred to the Commission respecting land use, project design and landscaping, community planning or proposed bylaws and permits under land use provision of the Local Government Act that has been referred to the Commission by Council or a Committee of Council. The Commission may be requested to investigate and survey the physical, environmental, social and economic conditions in relation to matters referred by Council or its Committee and provide recommendations to Council thereon.
