Street Light Outage
Nelson Hydro maintains approximately 700 street lights within the City of Nelson. If you notice a street light that needs repair or maintenance, please report it to Nelson Hydro.
The following information is required in order to properly identify the street light being reported, and to ensure the crew is informed of the proper location
- Name, address and phone number of person filing report
- Exact street address of pole with street light being reported
- Nelson Hydro pole number of the pole with street light being reported. Each Nelson Hydro pole is identified with a unique number. These numbers are attached to the poles six to seven feet above ground and provide us with a mapped location of the pole.
- Condition of street light being reported. On all the time, on/off intermittently, off completely, etc.
- Name and return phone number of person filing report. This call back number is crucial in the event the light cannot be located in the field.
Note:
Street lights reported without the complete information may not receive the proper repairs.
