handyDART
The regional handyDART low-floor accessible bus service is operated the Regional District of Central Kootenay in partnership with BC Transit, with service between Naksup and Nelson operated by Arrow & Slocan Lakes Community Services. Conventional accessible service, rural transit service and custom door-to-door handyDART services are available for people with disabilities who are unable to use the conventional transit system.
There are two types of handyDART trip services
- One-time trips. Please call to make a reservation at least 24 hours prior to your trip.
- Regular subscription trips. For regular on-going trips, you need only call once to set them up. The bus will continue to pick you up on your scheduled days.
You may book your trip by calling toll-free, 1-877-843-2877. If the dispatcher is not available, please leave a message with your booking request and telephone number.
