Next week McNally is planning to pave of the west side of the parking lot, paving the transition in the rear lane in the 100 Block of Hall and paving the transition area that runs along the west side of the 100 Block of Hall, adjacent to the Taylor Wilton property.  Access from the rear lane to the 100 Block of Hall Street will remain closed until the asphalt work has been completed.McNally has also indicated that further instillation of electrical utilities will proceed and preparatory work for the concrete sidewalk that will run adjacent to the foreshore steps and will tie into the trail near the wharf.

Marwest has indicated that next week they will be backfilling the shallow utility work they finished up this week and will finish the install of the double catch basins on the NW and NE corners of the Front and Hall intersection as well as will be installing two large storm manholes in Front Street.

The City would like to remind residents that the businesses remain open and that access to Gateway Plaza and 625 Hall Street is from Lakeside Drive via the Cedar Street detour route.  The City also requests that drivers and pedestrians utilize caution while traveling through this busy area and to follow the signs and direction provided by the flaggers.
