COVID-19 Recovery Operations Centre Weekly Update

Facebook Website Recovery

Confirmed cases have increased in BC this week. Confirmed cases in the Interior region and more specifically the Kootenay Boundary Health Service Delivery Area remain low. Even though our numbers remain low, it’s important to not become complacent.

Remember the basics. Keep your group small, wash your hands, carry a mask just in case you need it and if you feel sick stay home. Have a great weekend Nelson!

Where are we at?

According to the BC Centre for Disease Control (CDC), new case count numbers have been generally stable in the Interior in the past few weeks. The number of new cases per week has been somewhere between 15 to 30. A total of 22 new cases were reported in the Interior Health region over the course of the last week compared to 15 the previous week.
