All dogs must have a license, which can be purchased from the cashier at City Hall.
Higher fees and more restrictions apply to vicious dogs. Licenses are not transferable.
No more than two dogs or two cats may be kept in a residential zone in the city.
Dogs may not be tied to any public building, structure, traffic control post, parking meter post, sign, tree or power pole on a public place in the city.
Owners must ensure that dogs do not cry, bark, yelp, howl or make noises that disturb the neighbourhood.

Dogs are not permitted in Lakeside Park.
Owners must ensure that dogs do not defecate on another person's property, on any street, lane, boulevard, pathway, or any other city or public property, or on any property used or preserved as a park, recreation or cultural area.
